Biography

Andrey Mordovsky (b. 1996) is an award-winning film composer. He studied musical composition on his own, in parallel with playing the flute and piano in Moscow. Due to his personal efforts and ambition to be a composer, he was a finalist in the International Film Music Competition by Zurch Film Festival twice in a row in 2019 and 2021. By winning the latter, he was awarded the golden eye, and his music was performed by the Tonhalle Zurich orchestra conducted by Frank Strobel. In the same year, he was a finalist for the International Film Composers Competition at the Next Generation Composers Lab 2021. His works were highly appreciated by such famous composers as Harry Gregson-Williams, Don Davis, Mychael Danna and others.
